Firefighters from Monarch, West County and Metro West worked to extinguish a fire that damaged two homes in the 1500 block of Narrow Drive in Chesterfield on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024. Capt. Matt Coppin of the Metro West Fire Protection District said that a neighbor saw something sparking that was plugged into an exterior wall outlet. When firefighters arrived the garage was engulfed in flames, spreading to the main house.
